The effects of climate change across the EHJV landscape are increasingly apparent. Drowned coastal marshes, inundated coastlands and drying wetlands are just a few ways that climate change is having an impact that is expected to profoundly affect our ability to manage wildlife resources and the habitats on which they depend. Understanding the implications of climate change is a necessity for EHJV partners – it is emerging as an overarching framework for EHJV conservation. The EHJV is developing climate change adaptation strategies so that conservation actions today will continue to be effective into the future.
